Lei participa en el área de exhibición de joyería que se lleva a cabo durante la presentación del libro "Los sabores de Panamá" que contiene las 100 mejores recetas de comida tradicional panameña del chef Jorge Jurado. Los fondos recaudados a través de este evento, a cargo de la Asociación de damas voluntarias de la Virgen de la Medalla Milagrosa, están destinados a la construcción de una nueva biblioteca para Hogar Monerri en Chorrillo. Lei participates in the jewelry exhibition area of the event that took place during the book's "Los sabores de Panamá" presentation from the chef Jorge Jurado. The collected funds of this event, organized by the Asociación de damas voluntarias de la Virgen de la Medalla Milagrosa, are destined to build a new library for Hogar Monerri at Chorrillo. El pasado 29 de Mayo inauguró la tercera edición de la Feria de Etnia Negra en el Centro de Convenciones ATLAPA.
Gracias al equipo de Exportaciones del Ministerio de Comercio e Industrias quienes me invitaron a exhibir y vender algunas de las obras Lei más destacadas en su stand, visitado por figuras públicas y visitantes nacionales e internacionales. Una vez más, los asistentes al evento, llevaron diversas piezas pintadas, talladas y elaboradas a mano, admirando los elementos de la naturaleza, convertidos en joyas y elementos decorativos!

The third edition of the Afro Panamanian Festival started on May 29th at Atlapa's Convention Center.
Thanks to the Exportation team of the Ministry of Trade and Industry who invited me to exhibit and sell some of Lei's more prestigious works of art in their stand, visited by public figures, national and international visitors. Once again, the attendants to the event took several pieces painted, carved and hand crafted, admiring the elements of nature turned into jewelry and decorative elements!

JCI AMERICAS CONFERENCE 2008

Lei tuvo la oportunidad de participar en el intercambio cultural y comercial que se dió en la Feria Comercial de la Conferencia de las Américas organizada por la Cámara Junior Internacional.

Los participantes de varias partes del mundo (Martinica, Estados Unidos, República Dominicana, Brasil, Francia y, desde luego, Panamá!) llevaron consigo un hermoso y exclusivo regalo de Lei Art como recuerdo de Panamá!

La Feria Internacional de Manualidades y Artesanías fue una excelente oportunidad para exponer nuevos diseños, a la vez que compartimos estos tres días de arte con expositores nacionales e internacionales y miembros de fundaciones como Pide un Deseo, Olimpiadas Especiales, Frater y otras. Además me siento muy orgullosa por la aparición de algunos de mis diseños en La Prensa (leer más) para promocionar el evento en su último día. Gracias una vez más por su apoyo y asistencia! Los espero en próximos eventos!

The International Handicrafts' Fair was an excellent opportunity to exhibit my new designs and, at the same time, share these three days of art with national and international artists and members of foundations such as Pide un Deseo, Olimpiadas Especiales, Frater and others. I also feel very proud for La Prensa's article (read more) in which some of my designs appeared and were used to promote the event in its last day. Thanks again for your support and for being there! I'll wait for you in other events... coming soon!

Feria Nacional de Artesanías / National Handcrafts Fair 2007

La Feria Nacional de Artesanías en la ciudad de Panamá inauguró el pasado 15 de Agosto con cientos de artesanos panameños exponiendo sus obras, actos culturales y más.

En el stand Lei, más de 100 obras se exhibieron al público nacional e internacional quiénes apoyaron el arte panameña a través de la adquisición de diversos diseños! Gracias a todos los que asistieron y apoyaron mi arte, quedo a su disposición y espero verlos en eventos próximos!

National Handcrafts' fair inaugurated on August 15 in Pnaama city with hundreds of panamanian crafters that exposed their art works, cultural presentations and more.

In the Lei stand, more than 100 art works were exhibited to national and international audience who supported panamanian art through the acquisition of different designs! Thanks to all who attended and supported my art and hope to see you in future events!

Lei @ Feria del Libro / Book Fair 2007

Lei estuvo presente en la Feria del Libro, en la semana del 15 al 20 de Mayo de 2007, en el Centro de Convenciones Atlapa, en dónde además de interesantes libros, se exhibieron más de 50 obras artesanales Lei en el stand de Casa Cultural Huellas y también algunas en el stand del Instituto Smithsonian. Gracias a los viejos y nuevos amigos por su visita y apoyo! A todos los que adquirieron una obra Lei con la que se sintieron identificados!

Lei was present in the Book Fair, on the week of May 15 to 20, 2007 at Atlapa where, besides interesting books, more than 50 Lei art works were exhibited at Casa Cultural Huellas' stand and also at Smithsonian's. Thanks to the old and new friends for their visit and support... to all whom got their Lei art work to which they identified with.
